Office 365 changes to Microsoft 365
In late 2020 Microsoft decided to rebrand its product name from Office 365 to Microsoft 365, which was due to the fact that the old name didn’t really cover enough of what Office 365 had under its belt.
Other than name nothing else has changed, both pricing and selection remained unchanged.
Here is an overview of the changes:
Office 365 Business Essential is now Microsoft 365 Business Basic Office 365.
Business Premium is now Microsoft 365 Business.
Standard Microsoft 365 Business is now Microsoft 365 Business Premium.
Office 365 Business is now Microsoft 365 Apps for business.
